Shannon
Saunders is a professional performer, teacher and recording
artist. She has performed
and taught workshops at Folk Music
Festivals in North America and around the world.
Her
decade of work with the Canadian folk band "The Paperboys"
has earned her a Juno Award,
two West Coast Music Awards and
appearances in two major motion pictures.
Shannon
has recorded two CD's with her band, "The Splinters", four with "The Paperboys"
and
has appeared as a session player on over 30 other recordings.
Shannon currently runs the "The Vancouver Fiddle Club", teaches
fiddle and Suzuki violin in the greater
Vancouver area and performs
with her band "The Splinters" and "The West Coast
Symphony Orchestra".
